I heard one snap at a nurse right in front of me just last week. I'm sure he was tired and at the end of shift but he should have been more professional.

Needless to say, he didn't get any pens from me!Wadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14862892796413503568noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7107366830633970319.post-67208028905758587112008-02-06T10:09:00.000-06:002008-02-06T10:09:00.000-06:00Wade--you had every right to not only whimper, but...Wade--

you had every right to not only whimper, but cry crocodile tears when they cleaned your road rash. I cannot imagine the pain that comes with that. Kudos to you for being tough!

Somedays I'm not sure how we make it! lol. I guess we just remember that we need a job to pay the bills! Thankfully, our ER docs aren't grouchy and they're pretty good to the nurses. That makes it a lot easier. :)

Would you please be our drug rep? I've gotten food twice in over a year. One time was Lenny's sub sandwiches (there weren't enough) and the other day was grapes and pineapple. We would love Chili's!! And as always, we love pens (and pen lights and paper).Audra Laneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16676760181352613922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7107366830633970319.post-75995246755068912522008-02-05T16:42:00.000-06:002008-02-05T16:42:00.000-06:00I seriously don't know how people like you and Sha...I seriously don't know how people like you and Shannon can do this job - but thank goodness you do!

I couldn't do it based upon the fact that every day you have the potential of (1) dealing with people who are up for Stupidest Person of the Year Award, (2) handling bodily fluids, and (3) putting up with grouchy ER docs!

That being said - I love calling on ER's as a drug rep because everybody loves the guy who brings cool pens and Chili's appetizers for the ER staff!

You've got a thankless job - but the rest of are glad you're willing to do it!

(By the way, you'll be proud to hear that I didn't even whimper when I got my road rash cleaned out at the ER! Since the guy with the morphine drip was nowhere to be found - I had to do it sans anesthesia. That was the most painful experience in my life!!!)Wadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14862892796413503568noreply@blogger.com
