WFMW: Easy Crock Pot Clean Up

Crock pot recipes are sooo good. Juicy, tender, savor the flavor! However, cleaning the crock pot mess is a chore in itself! It seems all the time you may have saved from cooking in the crock pot is now spent bending over the sink, sweating blood, and turning your fingers into shriveled up raisin looking tentacles.

No longer, my ladies!

Enter: crock pot bags!!

These lovely little bags slip right into the crock pot, keeping the food from touching the surface of the pot. (No, your food won't taste like plastic...or maybe my husband lies to make me feel better? Anyway!) These bags make clean up a breeze. Now you can spend that hard earned time doing more productive things like blogging or catching up on Law & Order.

Now head on over to RIMD to find more "works for me" posts!

  2. I always spray the inside of my crock pot with non-stick spray but you just reminded me that I bought some of these a while ago.

I'll have to find them and use them tomorrow for the roast I'm planning!

    Thanks!

  4. Hi Audra! I was scrolling through the list when I saw my name and had to come right over. You are a cutie! You are so right, I spend a lot of time cleaning the crock pot, and sometimes it keeps me from using it. Thanks for the great tip!

  5. Thank you for your timely post! I currently have a crock pot crock in my kitchen needing some attention! I think that these would be well worth the cents spent on each one...just in saved time and aggrivation!

Thank you for bringing these to our attention!!!
