The One Where I Scored At Kroger

So I totally scored at Kroger last night. Here's the rundown:

So the guy was totally cute and checking me out, so I went and asked for his number....Completely kidding! My husband wasn't at the store! ;) Ha! No, I scored in a much better way than that! ;)

Here's the rundown:

4 Cover Girl nail polishes- 25 cents/each
2 Cover Girl trio eyeshadows- 1.25/each
1 Pantene shampoo- 1.99
1 Pantene conditioner- 2.99
1 Crest toothpaste- free
2 Listerine pocket packs- free
1 Herbal Essence shampoo- 0.99 cents
1 Herbal Essence mousse- free
2 Old Spice Deodorants- 1.00 each

Total: 15 name brand items for....$10.47!!! Oh and I didn't even add in the Cascade I got for $1.99! Steal!

I had to get lots of other groceries and stuff for the shower as well. Total saved last night: $85, with almost $40 of that in clipped coupons! I watched the total tick from $206 alllll the way down to....$138! Score!!!!

The only downfall was the fact that I had enough coupons to get 3 lbs. of split chicken breasts for FREE and they were out. Don't worry. I'll be back! (fade out) bwa ha ha ha!

  2. Isn't it such a high. Didn't you remember to use the coupons on your card as well as the P&G coupons from the paper. It's like getting it for free.

  5. *Patting myself for my induction into the super moms club* ;) Thanks, Hil!

@ Audrey--I don't know what to tell you! I use southernsavers.com to look at the deals for the week and then pick out what she has listed that I need. Sometimes I don't save much, but sometimes I save a lot! On average, I save about $35-$40 in clipped coupons every 2 weeks, plus around $3-$4 in loaded coupons on my Kroger card. I also get several copies of the paper coupons from family.

@Amanda--Y'all don't get the good ones? Stinks! P&G, Redplum, and the Sunday Savers are the best! There are lots of sites where you can print the Sunday coupons online--for free!
