Although it's probably intended for pre-schoolers and not a 14-month old, my favorite book of Tate's is Guess How Much I Love You - I can't remember the author's name. Sam somebody. But it's a great book for dads and I can't wait to read it to Tate when he can understand it for himself.
We haven't quite made it out of the board book stage yet. It has been so surprising to me, though, to see how much Tate loves to read and that he already has clear favorites. His current favs are B is for Bear, Barnyard Dance, Goodnight Moon, and Brown Bear/Brown Bear.
Berenstein Bears!!
