Yesterday, on the way out the door to work, I forgot:
-my purse
-my badge
-my stethscope
and I had to go back and get each one of them 3 separate times.
After I got in my car and down the road, I realized I had forgotten the study guide I'd left on my kitchen counter to take with me to study for an upcoming competency exam.
Half way to work I realized I had forgotten to put on deodorant. (And I was the hottest I've ever been at work--naturally. I had to go outside 3 times and then stand in front of the freezer eating a popsicle.)
At 3 am, I was washing my hands in front of a mirror when I noticed I had forgotten my left earring. I was only wearing one. Nice.
So a note to my brain: Wherever you have gone, please come back. I am failing miserably without you!

Isn't the baby brain strange? And the body heat is just so much fun as well.
It might be time to start worrying about that compentency exam! :-)
Hahahaha! This post made me literally laugh out loud!
You know, I ain't even pregnant to my knowledge and I seem to leave my computer places, lunch on the counter, wallet on the coffee table. So in the long run you are a lot better at remembering things than I am.
