There's no one like a mom. Even though I'm 24 years old, I'll admit that there are times where I'd rather choose to sit in my mom's lap and be rocked and comforted than face the world. Why? Because mothers are full of compassion, understanding, and a sense of "everything's gonna be alright." Moms make you feel better, take the hurt away, and ease the stress- even if it means taking it on themselves. Moms are givers. Sacrificers. Listening ears.
Oh how thankful I am for my mom! A woman with a serious sense of humor, intelligence, and compassion. Happy Birthday, Mom! I love you!

I agree with you. I think my mother's bed is the safesst place on earth. I hope my girls feel the same about me.
