I'm not sure that I'm posting this as an announcement, plea for accountability, or a prayer request.
I think the last time I worked out was in 2005. I wish I were lying.
I'm not.
Yep. 2005. In a (pick your word: crazy, desperate, stupid) attempt to fit back into my pants from 3 months ago, I've decided to challenge (er, torture) myself by pushing my body to its limit with the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels. (For the record, I'm pretty sure it's limit will be at min 3/20 on this video.) No, I've never watched The Biggest Loser, but I hear Jillian's a real treat...if a workhorse is your kind of treat.
So I'm telling you that I'm starting it. The DVD has been looking at me from the dining room table for 3 days, still unopened. I might start today, but that means I won't be able to walk again until Thursday.
After reading more reviews about how tough (read: awful) this DVD is going to be, this post is now labeled as 'prayer request.'
Because y'all...I'm gonna need it.

Girl, you can do it!! I'm sure I weigh more than you do and I'm on day 4. Like I said on FB, take a day off in between. We can do this. I'm determined to lose 10 pounds by my birthday which is in 13 weeks. I'll be your cheerleader and you can be mine. :)
