Sleeping in sheets soaked in liquid--pee or breastmilk? Doesn't matter. Sleep prevails.
Crying when your little one cries because his tummy hurts, and there's nothing you can do to help.
Waking up with your shirt covered in tee tee...and if you're Daddy, your favorite pillow, too.
Changing a poopy diaper, only to change another one in 5 minutes.
Feeding on demand...every 30 minutes sometimes.
Wondering when was the last time you brushed your teeth.
Anybody could do these things or encounter these events. The difference is a Mommy knows it's worth every second. When he smiles. Or coos in his sleep. Or makes his nursing mouth while he's dreaming. Or falls asleep in your arms.
It's worth every. single. second.

It is worth every second. That's so good that you're reminding yourself of that b/c in those early sleep-deprived days it can be easy to forget. And also remember, it won't be like that forever...thank goodness! :)
My favorite was always when I had just buckled Tate in the carrier ready to go in a cute new outfit. Then he spit up and had to be changed. Then I buckled him in again. Then he had one of those blow-out dirty diapers and had to be changed again. Finally 30 minutes later we could finally go. Good times and hard times...but worth it all! :)
He is so just too cute! You are definitely right... they are worth EVERY second!! I can't wait to meet him and get some great images of him too!
Oh my goodness !!! Hes just so sweet ! I can't wait to see y'all again !!! They are worth every second...I even feel that way with my 3 year old hell raiser ! LOL Hope all is well !!!!
Oh he is so sweet!! From the 4D I thought he was going to look so much like you, now, from the pics, he looks like a little Andrew!!
You're doing great! Just remember that the "newborn fog" doesn't last forever.
Life got exponentially easier once we felt like we were coming out of the newborn fog . . . which was, for us, when Tate started sleeping at least 6 straight hours at night.
that is so true and it is worth every second! Hang in there it gets better (until they start teething!!) ha ha j/k
I really like the seat. We had to take the little head rest out though for right now. It makes his head fall forward when he is asleep. But as he gets bigger I think he will like the head rest. Your baby boy is too cute!
